English & ESL Classes for Kids
At Carousel of Languages, English classes for kids are taught by native speakers with extensive training in the Carousel Teaching System®. Our unique methodology is based on a multi-sensory approach to foreign language classes for children. Our curriculum applies verbal, visual and tactile associations to early childhood themes and skills. Themes and skills grow more complex as children learn and progress.
Infants and Toddlers
At our unique English classes for kids, infants and toddlers think and learn through their senses and the manipulation of objects in the world around them. At this stage, Carousel of Languages English teachers encourage children to manipulate physical props while listening and absorbing new vocabulary. Infant and toddler English class components include traditional songs and nursery rhymes with customized visual aids and props, movement & finger plays. Children are actively engaged in a beautiful, nurturing environment.
At our unique English classes for kids, pre-school age children develop memory and use symbols while learning. At this age, children are introduced to new vocabulary, based on early childhood themes, in a full immersion setting. Pre-school English class components include basic conversation, music & movement, interactive storytelling, dramatic play, and games for grasping and retaining new vocabulary. Our beautiful and customized teaching materials provide a stimulating, multi-sensory experience.
Elementary School Age
Children in this stage organize information in more logical and systematic ways. At our unique English classes for kids, our school age students take theme-based learning further by classifying objects on more complex levels and testing out new ideas. English class components for school age children include conversation, dramatic play, logical thinking activities, as well as basic reading, writing & grammar.
At our unique English classes for kids, our older students focus on broader concepts, with strong emphasis placed on reading, writing, grammar, and fluent conversational skills.
